While every day on a girls' trip is a girls' day, this (and tomorrow) are especially so.

We started off the day by taking an Uber to Camden Market. Camden Market is London’s largest market and houses over 1,000 unique shops, stalls, bars, and cafes. It dates back to 1974 and is famous for vintage and alternative clothing. A few of the famous landmarks in the area include Dingwalls, Camden Lock, Amy Winehouse Statue, and Stables Market. My mom, sister, and I had fun eating and shopping our way through the market. My sister and I ate acai bowls for breakfast, and my mom and I ate jerk chicken for lunch. I sampled various foods from multiple vendors as we strolled past. We eventually shopped ourselves out and returned back to our hotel.

Before we knew it, we were getting ourselves ready for dinner. We ate at Prix Fixe Soho, one of Soho’s most charming French restaurants. The restaurant features fixed-price menus, daily specials, and a la carte French classics with a live pianist in the evening. We ate from the two-course set menu that was $21.90* per person. I had the tender Fried Calamari (spicy mayo, watercress, and lemon) for starters and Seafood Linguine (baby octopus, mussels, prawns, squid, cherry tomatoes, chilli, garlic, and fresh parsley) for my main course. My mom had the Chicken Schnitzel and Avocado Salad (sun dried tomatoes, sweetcorn, parmesan, croutons, and Caesar dressing) for starters and Classic Beef Bourguignon (creamy mashed potatoes and horseradish cream) for her main course. My sister also had Fried Calamari for her starter and Chargrilled Marinated Pork Chop (roasted potatoes, red cabbage sale, red wine jus) for her main course. My mom and I enjoyed our food but my sister’s pork chop was a miss. For dessert, we had the most delicious Mousse Au Chocolat for $9.90*. I also had a Hugo St-Germain spritz for $10.50*. While I tend to not gravitate to French food, I enjoyed our food and service. I may have to start incorporating more French foods in my routine.

After dinner, we headed to the West End to watch MJ The Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre. The show was a lot better than I thought it would be, and I genuinely enjoyed it. I am so grateful that we were able to see a show in the West End as I am a big fan of theatre and have seen a handful of shows on Broadway. It was great to see the European version of Boardway and the three of us had a wonderful night out on the town.
