After months of planning and preparing, the wedding weekend was finally here! All of Hannah and Shane’s (along with countless others) hard work lead up to the next 48 hours.

We packed up our belongings from Hannah and Shane’s home and then headed over to the wedding venue for the rehearsal run through. The wedding was to be held at Los Willows Wedding Estate in Fallbrook, California. The venue was beautiful with an outdoor garden ceremony space, lake, and large indoor and outdoor reception areas. The location was so dreamy and serene, the perfect place to say I Do.

The rehearsal run through was quick and easy and before we knew it, we were on the road again for a post rehearsal luncheon at the groom’s father’s house. Unfortunately, our car got to the luncheon late as we hit some major traffic and struggled to find a gas station. We eventually made it, almost two hours later, and enjoyed a delicious spread accompanied by conversations, drinks, and even a little basketball shoot around. We wrapped up our late lunch and headed back to the venue where we would be staying at a villa on their vast property.

The villa was jaw dropping stunning (the photos below do not do it justice). It was sat atop of a mountain which was a terrifying drive up and down but nonetheless absolutely gorgeous. I felt like we were staying at the Bachelor Mansion from the Bachelor franchise. The villa housed the bride, groom, bridesmaids, and a few of the bridesmaids' boyfriends (Avery, Josh, and Chris - the three amigos). The villa had 4 or 5 floors (I was constantly getting lost), game cave, outdoor patios, balconies, and a salon with a sauna. During our stay we had an onsite employee who drove us to and from the venue and cooked for us. This was better than the Bachelor Mansion, this was like a Southern sorority mansion complete with a house mom.

The group of us staying at the villa had a chill night as we prepared for tomorrow’s big event. We ate, danced, sang, played games, and enjoyed quality time together as a group of new and old friends here to celebrate Hannah and Shane.
