As the saying goes, last day, best day. Today was our final day of sailing. We would be traveling across the sea and heading back to Tampa, Florida.
We started our day off like every other, with breakfast. I had hard boiled eggs, toast, a pancake, and fruit. We filled our day by lounging in the sun on the outside deck, attending the Grand Finale Art Auction, and attending the Matinee: Crew Talent Show.
We switched things up for lunch and ate at O'Sheehan's Bar. I had the Caesar salad (focaccia crouton) with added grilled chicken, 1/2 dozen chicken wings (buffalo sauce), and the brownie-raspberry swirl cheesecake. My family ordered the spinach and artichoke dip (tortilla chips), pretzel bites (beer cheese fondue), the Coney Island hot dog (melted cheese, chili, onions, French fries), and the brownie-raspberry swirl cheesecake. The cheesecake might have been the best dessert of the entire trip - it was dangerously delicious.
After we ate, we took it easy and before long it was time to get ready for dinner. At our final dinner I had the seared Atlantic scallops (fennel puree, buttermilk & chive sauce), grilled New York strip steak (French fries, peppercorn sauce), and the warm chocolate lava cake (strawberry compote, stracciatella cream). My sister had the seared Atlantic scallops, grilled New York strip steak, and the warm chocolate lava cake. My mom had the cheese ravioli (lobster cream sauce) and seared Atlantic scallops, grilled New York strip steak, and the warm chocolate lava cake. My dad had the cheese ravioli, grilled New York strip steak, and the warm chocolate lava cake.
After dinner we saw the comedian show performed by Warren Hall. Many laughs later the show concluded and we were on our way back to our rooms to pack as we would be departing the boat come morning.
