I Am Back - 06.19.25

When I said that my next trip is just around the corner, I meant it. I left early this morning to fly out to San Diego, California from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to celebrate my dear friend Hannah for her Bachelorette. My flight left at 8:39 AM from PHL and arrived in SAN at 11:11 AM. I waited for my flight in the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, where I enjoyed a variety of breakfast foods and cocktails. This was my first airport lounge experience and now that I have seen the other side, there is no going back. To quote Victoria Ratliff from White Lotus, "I just don’t think at this age, I’m meant to live an uncomfortable life. I don’t have the will.". 

My flight went smoothly and before I knew it, I was reunited with my Disney College Program friends, Alexa and Hannah. Like me, Alexa is from the East Coast, but there is no distance that would keep us from celebrating our friend. Hannah picked Alexa and I up from the airport and drove us back to her home in Murrieta, California. On our way to her home, we did my favorite tradition and got In-N-Out Burger. At Hannah’s house we (the three of us plus Hannah’s maid of honor, Ilana) had a chill day of settling in, swimming in her gorgeous pool, watching the movie Sleepover, eating delicious salads, and making scrapbooks. This was a super chill day of girls just being girls and I loved it. Tomorrow we will gain a majority of the other bridesmaids and have wine, wine, and more wine on the tour that started it all.
