This morning started off cold and early as a cold front was hitting Florida. Jen and I were up early to pack up our belongings and get a quick bite to eat at our resort’s Centertown Market. I ordered the Caribbean Omelet (Ham, Bell Peppers, Onions, Pico de Gallo, and Cheddar served with Breakfast Potatoes) for $11.49. Our breakfast was good and before we knew it we were waiting for the Mears Connect bus to pick us up to go to the airport. At MCO, after we dropped off our checked bags and went through security, we went to The Club MCO where we had a light lunch and a drink to celebrate a trip well done.
Our flight was decent, however once we landed in PHL we had delays as our assigned jet bridge was not functioning properly. We had to wait nearly an hour and fifteen minutes to deboard the plane. Once we were able to get off the plane, we quickly made our way through the airport, acquired our luggage, and headed to the long-term parking lot where we braced the frigid air and traveled to Avery’s parents' house. We ate a quick dinner with his parents when we dropped his mom off then headed home to dig out my car and start the unpacking process.
I am very grateful that we were able to travel safely to warmer weather for a few days and enjoy one of the most magical places on Earth. I am glad that I was able to see Dinoland, ride Dinosaur, and see the themed characters one last time before their extinction. I am also glad that we were able to go on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster one last time with the current Aerosmith theme, for Avery’s sake. I’ll see you (Disney) again real soon!
